Penumbra

EN – Penumbra (*lat. “half” + “shadow”) explores a poetic space inspired by the physical phenomenon of the penumbra, the subtle zone between full light and full shadow. The works in red tones and half-light mark an intermediate step on a journey from the cold, urban environment of Berlin to the warm south of France. They provide a starting point for a new series and open moments of introspection, where calm and drama intermingle.
FR – Penumbra (*lat. « moitié » + « ombre ») explore un espace poétique inspiré du phénomène physique de la pénombre, cette zone subtile entre lumière totale et ombre complète. Les œuvres, dans des tons rouges et en demi-lumière, marquent une étape intermédiaire sur un parcours allant du Berlin froid et urbain au sud chaud de la France. Elles constituent un point de départ pour une nouvelle série et ouvrent des moments d’introspection, où calme et drame se mêlent.
DE – Penumbra (*lat. „halb“ + „Schatten“) erschließt einen poetischen Raum, inspiriert vom physikalischen Phänomen der Halbschattenzone – der subtilen Grenze zwischen vollständigem Licht und völliger Dunkelheit. Die Arbeiten in Rottönen und Halblicht markieren einen Zwischenschritt auf einer Reise vom kalten, urbanen Berlin zum warmen Süden Frankreichs. Sie bilden einen Ausgangspunkt für eine neue Werkgruppe und eröffnen Momente der Introspektion, in denen Ruhe und Dramatik ineinanderfließen.
